Orangel José Paz Villalobos, director de Seguridad Ciudadana del municipio Almirante Padilla, también fue detenido y se incautaron 7 embarcaciones tipo lancha
El Vicepresidente Sectorial de Política, Seguridad Ciudadana y Paz, Diosdado Cabello, anunció que, en el marco de la operación Relámpago en el estado Zulia, se logró la aprehensión de los alcaldes de los municipios Catatumbo y Jesús Enrique Lossada, Fernando Loaiza Chacón y Danilo Añez, respectivamente. Ambos presuntamente tienen vinculación con una organización de narcoparamilitarismo. Esta acción fue llevada a cabo en conjunto con la Fuerza Armada Nacional Bolivariana (FANB).
Además, se detuvo al Director de Seguridad Ciudadana del municipio Almirante Padilla, ciudadano Orangel José Paz Villalobos, y se confiscaron 7 embarcaciones tipo lancha.
A través de un comunicado publicado en la cuenta de la red social Instagram del Ministerio de Interior, Justicia y Paz, Cabello reiteró el compromiso del Gobierno Revolucionario de avanzar en las investigaciones y detener a todas las personas involucradas en organizaciones de delincuencia organizada que buscan utilizar el territorio nacional para actividades ilegales. El mensaje recalcó que, sin importar quién sea, se continuará trabajando de manera coordinada con los cuerpos de seguridad y la FANB para garantizar la paz y la seguridad en el país.
Es importante recordar que, el pasado viernes 14 de marzo, el ministro de Interior, Justicia y Paz informó que, luego de intensos trabajos de inteligencia, se capturaron a 9 individuos, entre ellos los alcaldes del municipio Miranda del estado Zulia, Jorge Nava, y del municipio Almirante Padilla, Alberto Sobalvarro. Estos ciudadanos son acusados de estar presuntamente vinculados con redes de tráfico de armas y drogas.
En el curso de la operación, se decomisó 5,4 toneladas de cocaína de alta pureza, 3 sumergibles de fabricación rudimentaria, 2 armas de fuego tipo revólver, 25 embarcaciones tipo lancha, 25 motores fuera de borda, 17 teléfonos móviles, 6 equipos de GPS (3 de alta tecnología), 2 detectores de monóxido de carbono, 3 pasaportes colombianos y 1 ecuatoriano.
Después, se registró un nuevo hallazgo en el sector La Cañonera, municipio Miranda (Los Puertos de Altagracia), en el que se decomisaron 300 panelas de cocaína, con un peso de 334 kilos y 350 gramos. Esta incautación se une a las 5.402 panelas de cocaína incautadas 4 días antes en la misma zona, que pesaron 6.359 kilos y 700 gramos. En total, las 2 incautaciones totalizan 6.694 kilos y 50 gramos de cocaína, de acuerdo a informes del Destacamento 113 de la Guardia Nacional Bolivariana (GNB).
Aparte de las panelas de cocaína, en la operación de este sábado 15 de marzo, se incautaron 3 fusiles M-4 calibre 5,56 mm, 2 cargadores de fusil AR-15, 239 cartuchos calibre 5,56 mm y 2 radiotransmisores. En otro operativo ejecutado en el sector Aricuaiza, municipio Machiques de Perijá, estado Zulia, se decomisaron 31 rollos de manto asfáltico infiltrados con cocaína, con un peso total de 1.240 kilos. El material era trasladado en un vehículo marca Ford F-350, color gris, placa AC3BW6M, conducido por el ciudadano Rodolfo Enrique Paz Paternina, quien fue detenido.
Asimismo, el ministro Cabello informó que la red desmantelada estaba dedicada al tráfico de drogas procedentes de Colombia con destino a Estados Unidos, usando como ruta el Lago de Maracaibo. Hasta los momentos, han sido detenidos 5 alcaldes de municipios localizados en esta zona.
El primero en ser detenido fue el alcalde del municipio Santa Bárbara, Nervis Sarcos, el pasado 25 de enero. Posteriormente, se detuvo al alcalde de Almirante Padilla, Alberto Sobalvarro, y al del municipio Miranda, Jorge Navas, el 12 de marzo. Por último, este sábado se anunció la aprehensión de los alcaldes de los municipios Catatumbo y Jesús Enrique Lossada, Fernando Loaiza Chacón y Danilo Añez, respectivamente, así como del Director de Seguridad Ciudadana de Almirante Padilla, Orangel José Paz Villalobos.
Diosdado Cabello insistió en que, sin importar las personas involucradas, se seguirá garantizando la paz y la seguridad en todo el país. “Caiga quien caiga, continuaremos garantizando la paz y la seguridad en cada espacio del territorio nacional”, aseguró el ministro este sábado, reafirmando el compromiso del gobierno en la lucha contra el narcotráfico y la delincuencia organizada.
